.DISCUSSION...
High pressure aloft and at the surface will lead to light winds
through the transport layer through Friday. This will result in
poor smoke dispersion. Southwesterly winds increase this weekend
leading to much better dispersion, especially on Saturday. A weak
front moves through on Sunday, with winds switching around to a
northerly direction Sunday night into Monday morning. A few
showers and thunderstorms are possible late Saturday night into
Sunday. Another chance for rain arrives later next Tuesday into
Wednesday. Otherwise heat and humidity will be the main concern
through the next 5 days.
