...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 830 PM EDT
FOR CENTRAL WETZEL COUNTY...

At 807 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Pine Grove, or
11 miles southeast of New Martinsville, moving north at 15 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is possible. Expect wind
         damage to trees and power lines, resulting in some power
         outages.

Locations impacted include...
Pine Grove, Jacksonburg, Big Run, Wileyville, Reader, and Knob Fork.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature`s leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.
