...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM EDT FOR
SOUTHWESTERN MUSKINGUM COUNTY...

At 528 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 4 miles southwest
of South Zanesville, or 8 miles southwest of Zanesville, moving
southeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Two inch hail and 70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Public reported reported 2 inch diameter hail and trees
         down at 525 PM.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
         considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
         mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
  South Zanesville, Fultonham, Cannelville, East Fultonham and
  Ruraldale.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. This storm has produced widespread
damaging winds and dangerous hail.
