AFTERNOON AND EVENING...
.DISCUSSION...A strong cold front will push east of the Cascades
this afternoon and evening. Breezy to windy conditions will
accompany the front with widespread gusts 25-35 mph and areas of
35-45 mph. Patchy to areas of blowing dust will be observed in the
lower elevations. Although there will be scattered showers and
isolated storms over the mountains, the chance of wetting rain is
mainly less than 20%. Conditions fall under red flag warning
criteria, but the winds have elevated fire weather concerns.
