Fire Weather Planning Forecast for NE Oregon and SE Washington
National Weather Service Pendleton OR
238 PM PDT Mon Sep 23 2024

.DISCUSSION...An upper level ridge will persist through Tuesday
bringing dry and warm conditions. Wednesday and upper level trough
will bring with it chances of widespread rain across the region.
However, CWRs will remain locked to the Cascade crests and eastern
slopes and Blue Mountains. Elsewhere will see light rain showers.
The upper level trough will also bring enhanced winds across the
region of 25 mph or greater with 80-100% probabilities. There will
be brief periods of enhanced fire weather concerns, however no
critical fire concerns at this time.

***Winds are 20 foot 10 minute averages***
***CWR-chance of wetting rain 0.10 or greater***
