The National Weather Service office in Mount Holly NJ has conducted a storm survey for the area near Kidder Township in Carbon County Pennsylvania. The survey was in relation to the severe thunderstorms that moved through the area on June 26 2024. The survey team has confirmed that extensive damage was due to straight-line winds. A final assessment is expected to be completed and transmitted via a Public Information Statement by tonight.
