* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northern Atlantic County in southern New Jersey...
  Southeastern Ocean County in southern New Jersey...
  Southeastern Camden County in southern New Jersey...
  Southeastern Gloucester County in southern New Jersey...
  Southeastern Burlington County in southern New Jersey...

* Until 815 PM EDT.

* At 713 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Hammonton, or
  20 miles northeast of Vineland, moving east at 45 mph.

  HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Minor damage to vehicles is possible. Expect considerable
           tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
           roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include...
  Barnegat, Hammonton, Shamong, Egg Harbor City, Tuckerton, Seaside
  Heights, Chesilhurst, Surf City, Port Republic, Elwood-Magnolia,
  Atsion, Wading River, Warren Grove, Chatsworth, Wharton State
  Forest, Brookville, Bass River State Forest, Batsto, Old Halfway,
  and New Gretna.

This includes the following highways...
 Garden State Parkway between mile markers 44 and 78.
 Atlantic City Expressway between mile markers 19 and 33.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

In addition to large hail and damaging winds, frequent cloud to
ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Move indoors
immediately. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough
to be struck by lightning.
