and 476)...
Near critical fire weather conditions will exist on Thursday.
A Pacific trough is bringing a mix of wet and dry thunderstorms to
the area this afternoon and evening. Storms will be capable of
producing gusts up to 55 mph and small hail. The cold front
associated with this system will arrive on Thursday and bring
strong winds and very dry air. Gusts will range from 25 to 35 mph
in the valleys and near 40 mph on the ridge tops. Min RHs will
fall to the mid teens to low 20s. The weather will remain warm
and dry on Friday and Saturday. While winds will be lighter both
days, min RHs will remain in the teens and low 20s.
* East Idaho Dispatch Area weather impact summary (Zones 410...411
and 413)...
Critical fire weather conditions will exist on Thursday.
A Pacific trough is bringing a mix of wet and dry thunderstorms to
the area this afternoon and evening. Storms will be capable of
producing gusts up to 55 mph and small hail. The cold front
associated with this system will arrive on Thursday and bring
strong winds and very dry air. The strongest gusts, near 55 mph
will be in Zone 410, particularly across the Arco Desert and Mud
Lake areas. Even outside of this spot, gusts will range from 40 to
50 mph. On Thursday, min RHs will range from 15 to 20 percent in
Zone 410 and 20 to 25 percent in Zones 411 and 413. The weather
will remain warm and dry on Friday and Saturday. While winds will
be lighter both days, min RHs will remain in the teens and low 20s.
