...EXCESSIVE HEAT WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM MST THURSDAY...

.DISCUSSION...
Hot and mostly dry conditions will prevail over the next few days,
with a slight chance of showers (10-20%) tomorrow, with the best
time to see these showers between 5pm and midnight. Most activity
should fall as virga, but a few light showers reaching the ground
cannot be ruled out. Some virga showers may produce locally
erratic gusty winds in excess of 35 mph. Outside of any rainfall
activity, gusts 20-25 mph, will be common Thursday afternoon and
early evening, resulting in locally enhanced fire weather
conditions. Dry conditions return on Friday with wind gusts of
around 15 mph expected in the afternoon and early evening. MinRH
values will range between 5-12%, while poor overnight recoveries
can be expected with MaxRHs only reaching towards 15-35%.
