.DISCUSSION...
Breezy west to southwest winds gusting upwards of 15 to 20 mph will
continue to weaken and subside going through the remainder of this
evening. Light winds are favored during the overnight period before
breezy southerly winds begin to increase Monday morning by around 9
AM. Winds will continue to increase going into Monday afternoon
while veering toward a southwest component with gusts climbing
upwards of 20 to 30 mph. Hot, dry conditions will be in place with
Min RHs Monday around 10%. The hot, dry, and windy conditions will
create elevated to critical fire weather conditions with a Red Flag
Warning in effect going into Monday afternoon. Gusty winds will then
subside going into Monday evening. Typical afternoon breeziness will
return to the area for Tuesday.
