Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
209 PM MDT Mon May 27 2024

.Discussion...

Dry and warm weather will continue across the district through
the upcoming week. The best chances for precipitation will be
during the late afternoon hours, with dryline activity possible
across the eastern plains, especially Tuesday through Thursday.
Temperatures will generally be at or above seasonal norms, and
winds are not expected to be particularly strong.

Surface-based inversions will begin to break tomorrow between
1000 and 1100, with smoke dispersion improving to Very Good for
most locations by 1300. The favorable window for ventilation will
last until 2000. Similar ventilation trends are forecast for
Wednesday.
