.Discussion...
For today, showers and thunderstorms will become numerous over
the mountains this afternoon, especially along the Continental
Divide. Locally heavy rain will be possible, and localized
flash flooding and rockslides will be possible. Over the plains,
the heat will return, and temperatures in the 80s and 90s are
expected. Thunderstorms coverage over the plains will be
isolated, except over the lower elevations of the Pikes Peak
region where the storms will be scattered.
For tonight, showers and storms will continue through the night
over the Continental Divide region.
For tomorrow, the weather will be very similar to todays weather,
except that it will be a 2 to 3 degrees warmer.
For the weekend, temperatures will continue to get hotter over
the district and thunderstorm coverage will become more
isolated over the district,
Early next week we will see the hottest weather of the period,
with temperatures in the 100s over the plains. Any thunderstorms
will be isolated.
Smoke dispersion will be very good or better both this afternoon
and tomorrow afternoon across the district.
