Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
607 PM MDT Sun Jun 9 2024

.Discussion...

Active weather will continue across the district today and tomorrow,
with showers and thunderstorms expected across the mountains and
mountain adjacent plains. Excessive rainfall will continue to be
possible with storms today, which could lead to localized flash
flooding for flood prone areas. Storm chances continue for Monday,
when some stronger storms will be possible over our mountains and
mountain adjacent plains. Storm chances begin to decrease on Tuesday,
as we begin to dry out and warm up through the middle of the week.
Another round of showers and thunderstorms is expected on Friday.

Smoke dispersion rates will be generally fair or better on the
plains tomorrow, but will vary from poor to good over the high
country. Please see specific zone forecasts below for more details.
Rates begin to improve on Tuesday, with most zones forecast to be
good or better.

--- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds ---
