This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...east
central...south central and southeast Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

A few storms will develop during the afternoon on Monday, mainly
north of Highway 50, with the highest probability being over the
Palmer Divide. Critical fire weather conditions are expected for
the lower elevations of the Sangres, below 7500 feet, as well as
within the Wet Mountain Valley Monday afternoon and evening.
Critical fire weather will then be possible for these areas again
from Wednesday through Saturday.

There will be an uptick in thunderstorm activity on Tuesday with
some high elevation snow, followed by an overall drier pattern for
southeast Colorado from Wednesday through Saturday. Only light
accumulations are anticipated across the highest elevations, with
perhaps a few inches for the northern Sawatch Range through the
middle part of the week.
