...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN RIO GRANDE AND
SOUTH CENTRAL SAGUACHE COUNTIES THROUGH 1145 AM MDT...
At 1114 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
La Garita, or 33 miles northwest of Alamosa, moving east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Center and La Garita.
