...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN ALAMOSA...WESTERN
COSTILLA AND EASTERN CONEJOS COUNTIES THROUGH 100 PM MDT...
At 1234 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
La Jara, or 14 miles southwest of San Luis Valley Airport, moving
east at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Manassa, Sanford, La Jara, Romeo, and Bountiful.
