...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 415 PM MDT
FOR OTERO...SOUTHWESTERN KIOWA...CROWLEY AND WESTERN BENT COUNTIES...

At 340 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 10 miles southwest of Wild Horse Point to near
Higbee, moving northeast at 35 mph. The strongest portion of the
line, with the potential for large hail, was near Rocky Ford and
just south of La Junta.

HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
         damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
La Junta, North La Junta, Rocky Ford, Las Animas, Ordway, Swink,
Manzanola, Sugar City, Cheraw, Crowley, Higbee, Blue Lake, Timpas,
Arlington, and John Martin Reservoir.

building.
