Ponding of water in urban or other areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1103 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. - The ground remains saturated and the heavy rain will readily runoff causing minor flooding, especially in urban areas and locations where ditches and drainages remain full. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Rocky Mount, Nashville, Wilson, Elm City, Dortches, Bailey, Bunn, Red Oak, Sharpsburg, Kenly, Spring Hope, Lucama, Middlesex, Black Creek, Sims, Castalia, New Hope and Pilot. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads.
