...Patchy dense fog through 9 AM this morning...

Patches of dense fog have developed over a large portion of
central North Carolina, with visibilities at many locations
dropping briefly to a half mile or less. Fog may be worse in low
areas and near bodies of water or wetlands. This fog is expected
to persist through mid morning.

Drivers this morning are urged to use extra caution. Slow down,
maintain extra distance ahead of you, and be prepared for sudden
drops in visibility.
