...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN NASH...SOUTHEASTERN
WAKE...WEST CENTRAL WILSON...NORTHERN JOHNSTON AND SOUTH CENTRAL
FRANKLIN COUNTIES THROUGH 415 PM EDT...

At 316 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking developing, strong
thunderstorms near Clayton, or 12 miles southeast of Raleigh, moving
northeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Garner, Clayton, Zebulon, Bailey, Knightdale, Wendell, Middlesex,
Pilot, Emit, and Buckhorn Reservoir.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional
information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
