Very dry conditions will accompany the heat with afternoon relative humidity in low teens to single digits with poor overnight recoveries (<30%) across the eastern district. Winds will remain light this afternoon before increasing Saturday through early next week which could result in elevated fire weather concerns in areas of cured fuels. $$ ECC012-221015- Tahoe Basin, Sierra Foothills and El Dorado NF- Discussion for Camino 313 AM PDT Fri Jun 21 2024 Hot weather will continue through the weekend with triple digit heat possible for lower western Sierra foothills this weekend. Higher elevation Sierra valleys will warm into the mid/upper 80s. Afternoon relative humidities will dip into the teens with good RH recoveries for lower foothill elevations and moderate recoveries across the Tahoe Basin.
