Locally gusty winds are possible possible during the afternoon and
evening hours today and tomorrow. Otherwise, the region will
remain hot and dry with near record to record temperatures and
limited recovery for mid and upper slopes. A low pressure system
is still in the forecast to bring breezy winds and dry conditions
on Friday and going into the weekend along with cooler temperatures.
Critical fire weather concerns may be possible for areas near the
California-Nevada border on Friday afternoon as a result.
