It will remain dry and breezy today and Tuesday with near critical
fire weather conditions across BLM lands. A cold front will bring
enhanced southwest winds Wednesday, bringing the potential for
more widespread critical conditions.

Locally gusty wind at times, mainly afternoons into evenings.
Slight chance of afternoon thunderstorms near the Sierra crest
Tuesday, south of highway 50.

It will remain dry and breezy today, especially along the Sierra
Front. Moisture then increases later today for a 10-20% chance of
thunderstorms, increasing to 15-30% chance Tuesday. Lightning and
variable gusty outflow winds will be possible with any storms
that develop. Breezy southwest winds Wednesday shift northwest
Thursday as a cold front moves through the region. Warmer
conditions return for the weekend with typical daytime breezes.
