618 FNUS85 KREV 201127 FWLREV ECCDA Discussions National Weather Service Reno NV 427 AM PDT Thu Jun 20 2024 ECC004-009-211130- Lassen NF and BLM in Modoc, Lassen, and Washoe Counties-Plumas NF- Discussion for Susanville and Quincy 427 AM PDT Thu Jun 20 2024 Temperatures will continue to heat up this week with highs approaching the upper 90s heat possible for lower elevation valleys by Saturday. Overall light afternoon breezes and dry conditions will continue through Friday with poor mid-slope recoveries expected across the far eastern district. Southwest winds will increase by Saturday afternoon with breezy and dry conditions continuing into early next week. $$ ECC012-211130- Tahoe Basin, Sierra Foothills and El Dorado NF- Discussion for Camino 427 AM PDT Thu Jun 20 2024 Temperatures will continue to heat up this week with triple digit heat possible for lower western Sierra foothills this weekend. Higher elevation Sierra valleys will warm into the mid-80s. Dry conditions will be in place this week with good RH recoveries for lower foothill elevations and moderate recoveries across the Tahoe Basin. Light westerly breezes will prevail each afternoon before breezier conditions develop over the weekend and into early next week. $$ ECC016-017-211130- Sierra Front in Alpine county- Inyo NF, Mono County and Owens Valley- Discussion for SF and Inyo 427 AM PDT Thu Jun 20 2024 A warming trend continues with temperatures increasing to around 10 degrees above average this weekend. Cumulus build ups with a 10-20% chance of isolated showers will be possible this afternoon along the eastern Sierra in Alpine and Mono counties. Otherwise conditions will remain dry this week. Light winds will continue until west winds increase by Saturday through early next week. $$
