.DISCUSSION...

...Yellowstone NP and Teton dispatch areas (includes fire weather
zones 140...414...415...and 416)...

After a quiet period through tonight, a weather disturbance and
associated cold front push through the region around midday Monday.
Gusty westerly wind develops behind the cold front. Rain showers
increase over Yellowstone National Park and Zone 415 from late
Monday morning through at least Monday evening. Cooler temperatures
Monday night lead to light snow in these zones, especially above
8000 ft MSL. Tuesday is unseasonably cool with decreasing wind and
precipitation, before a warming trend comes Wednesday.

...Cody dispatch area (includes fire weather zones 275...276...
282...283...285...286...287...288...and 289)...

After a quiet period through midday Monday, a weather disturbance
and associated cold front push through the region Monday afternoon.
Gusty southwest wind switches to the northwest late in the day,
favoring 20 to 30 mph wind in the Wind River and northern Bighorn
Basins. The best chance for scattered rain showers will be across
the north half of the district late Monday through Tuesday. Wind
speeds decrease Tuesday and high temperatures are unseasonably cool,
before a warming trend comes Wednesday.

...Casper dispatch area (includes fire weather zones 277...278...
279...280...281...285...289...and 300)...

After a quiet period through midday Monday, a weather disturbance
and associated cold front push through the region Monday afternoon.
Gusty west wind 20 to 30 mph will be common with the direction
switching to the northwest in Johnson County late in the day. The
best chance for scattered rain showers will be across Johnson and
Natrona Counties Monday night, with overnight snow in the higher
elevations of the Bighorn Range. Wind speeds decrease Tuesday and
high temperatures are unseasonably cool, before warming Wednesday.

...Thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds...
...Haines Index is high level Haines both day and night...
