.DISCUSSION...
An extended heat wave continues throughout the week courtesy of high
pressure surface and aloft. Afternoon apparent, or feels like
temperatures, will reach at least into the mid 90s again Thursday,
and as high as the low 100s in many lowland locations Friday and
Saturday, resulting in the potential for moderate to major heat-
related impacts.
A cold front approaches from the west late Sunday into Monday,
bringing with it the chance for showers and thunderstorms. While it
may still be hot to start off next week, it will not be quite as hot
as this week.
