.DISCUSSION...
Drier, quiet and warmer weather returns today under high pressure,
but a few showers may develop along the mountains for a brief period
of time this afternoon. A weak disturbance passing through the area
may give rise to showers and thunderstorms Saturday afternoon, some
of which may grow to be severe along the higher terrain.
Relative humidity percentages will once again fall into the 20s and
30s this afternoon, and then the 30s and 40s over the weekend.
Afternoon minimum relative humidity percentages then climb further
during the next work week starting Monday, as a ridge of high
pressure moves east of the area and allows a more humid southerly
flow to become established. There is also the chance for showers,
and mainly afternoon thunderstorms, as disturbances, and, eventually
a midweek cold front, cross.
