Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 620 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following streams and drainages... Mason Creek, Back Creek, Roanoke River, Murray Run, Carvin Creek, Gum Spring Branch and Cook Creek. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are expected over the area.
