...SHOWER/T-STORMS ACROSS SOUTHERN CA INTO SE NV TODAY THEN MAINLY
DRY AND WARMER THROUGH THE MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK...

.METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS (FRI AM - WED NIGHT)...

An upper-level low moving across the southern CA coast today is
contributing to shower and thunderstorm activity across Ventura and
LA counties and into SE Kern, northern San Bernardino, and far
southern Inyo counties this morning. As the low gradually moves
east today and with daytime heating, expect shower activity to
expand across more of SE CA, and potentially impact the southern
Sierra and southern/eastern NV. By Sat, the low is forecast to move
east of the region, followed by ridging building over the western
U.S. early next week. Some guidance indicates a few showers near
the Sierra crest next week, but overall conditions appear to be dry
and warmer through the middle of next week.
