...MAINLY DRY AND WARM THROUGH THE WEEKEND...

.METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS (WED AM - TUE AM)...

A shortwave trough moves into the Pac NW today with associated
weakening front brushing by the far north portion of the region.
Precip is expected to generally stay north of the area but light
precip possible along the west slope of the Srn Cascades this
afternoon. Cooler temperatures over CA, especially along the coast
(up to 10 degrees below normal) today and drizzle possible along the
CA coast with a deeper marine layer this morning. Max temperatures
near normal to 10 degrees above normal (except below normal up to 10
degrees along the Coast) over CA and around 5 to 15 degrees above
normal for NV this afternoon. High pressure centered near the four
corners region builds back into our region Thursday into Friday. Max
temperatures generally warm to 5 to 15 degrees above normal over the
region on Friday. A low in the Pacific moves ne to around 32N 125W
offshore of the Srn CA coast on Friday and weakens as it approaches
the Central CA coast on Saturday as a shortwave trough enters into
the Pac NW. The weakened low may move on the coast near Point
Conception on Sunday before it retrogrades out into the Pacific on
Monday as high pressure strengthens over four corners region. Max
temperatures generally fluctuate around 5 to 15 degrees above normal
through the weekend.
