Strong ridging and above-normal temperatures continue today across the region. By Sun, some guidance indicates enough subtropical moisture moving into SW CA to produce some shower activity, mainly over the higher terrain. Mon looks to be less coverage, and Tue-Wed as the moisture continues to edge to the north, could see some showers over the southern Sierra into NE NV. Mainly dry conditions should return for Thu. Followed a WPC/NBM blend through Tue morning (end of day 3) and WPC beyond that time. A gradual cooling trend is expected through the middle of next week after today.
