...SPOT MIGRATION FROM NIDS TO IDP ON TUES JUN 25 2024...

Tomorrow, June 25th, 2024 NCEP Central Operations will be
moving the SPOT application as described in Service Change
Notice 24-59 issued on May 22, 2024.  At approximately
1330Z weather.gov/spot will be redirected to the new home
for the application, spot.weather.gov.  Once the
application is moved, a final sync of the data from the old
application environment will commence.  NCO expects this
process to take up to 90 minutes.  Any spot request made
between Friday June 21st and tomorrow morning will be synced
and may not be visible between 1330Z and 1500Z.  During the
sync process, new spot requests can be initiated at
spot.weather.gov.  Any operational issues can be directed to
NWS Tech Control at nco.ops@noaa.gov.


The 12Z GFS started on time with 12 Alaskan...25 Canadian...
67 CONUS...12 Mexican...10 Caribbean...and 9 Pacific stations
available for ingest.
