Mount Rainier Recreational Forecast

.SYNOPSIS...A cloudy and cool morning with marine layer stratus,
giving way to a mostly clear and warmer evening today. A weak
system will move through Mount Rainier National Park early on
Tuesday, bringing light snow and drizzle. Mostly zonal flow aloft
afterwards with near-normal temperatures. However, cooler and
wetter weather looks to return by Friday and through the weekend.

.IMPACTS...Strong winds near the summit will make it difficult to
move safely and could produce local whiteout conditions. A high
level of skill and experience in alpine terrain, including use of
GPS, is recommended for navigation and camping in these
conditions.

.TUESDAY...Mostly sunny with a slight chance of drizzle and snow
