...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT BOURBON COUNTY THROUGH 700 PM
CDT...

At 619 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 6 miles northeast of
Kincaid to near Altoona. Movement was east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Marmaton, Bronson, Uniontown, Fulton, Redfield, Mapleton, Harding,
Hiattville, Petersburg, Devon, Porterville, Xenia, and Hammond.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for
southeastern Kansas.
