...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN CEDAR...
SOUTHWESTERN ST. CLAIR AND NORTHEASTERN VERNON COUNTIES THROUGH 615
PM CDT...

At 540 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Schell City, or 10 miles northwest of El Dorado Springs, moving
southeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
El Dorado Springs, Walker, Schell City, Harwood, Tiffin, Taberville,
and Cedar Springs.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for
southwestern and west central Missouri.
