.SYNOPSIS...
Hot dry days are expected for inland areas with the marine layer
and onshore flow keeping coastal areas cooler with night and
morning coastal low clouds spreading into portions of the valleys
late each night. The valleys will be cooler today, otherwise
there will be a warming trend through Saturday with high
temperatures for inland areas on Saturday around 8 to 12 degrees
above average. There will be cooling for Sunday and Monday with
Monday high temperatures around 15 degrees cooler than Saturday
for inland areas. This will be followed by a warming trend through
the following weekend.

SAN DIEGO...WESTERN RIVERSIDE AND SOUTHWESTERN SAN BERNARDINO
COUNTIES...

.SHORT TERM (Today through Saturday)...
The marine layer decreased in depth to around 1500 feet by late
Wednesday, but is deepening again with the current depth around
2000 feet. Coastal low clouds have spread inland across much of
the San Diego County valleys and are spreading into western and
far southern portions of the Inland Empire. Night and morning
coastal low clouds will continue to spread into portions of the
valleys late each night.

High temperatures for the valleys will be cooler today, otherwise
there will be a warming trend through Saturday with high
temperatures on Saturday around 8 to 12 degrees above average with
hottest temperatures in the lower deserts to around 116 and in the
Inland Empire to around 101. An Excessive Heat Warning is in
effect for the lower deserts for Friday and Saturday with Saturday
expected to be the hottest day. A Heat Advisory is also in effect
for the more inland portions of the Inland Empire, but only on
Saturday. It is unlikely any high temperature records will be
tied or broken on Saturday.

.LONG TERM (Sunday through Wednesday)...
Sunday and Monday will be cooler as a low pressure system moves
inland through the western states with high temperatures on Monday
for the mountains, inland valleys, and high desert 5 to 10 degrees
below average, in the mid 70s to mid 80s for the Inland Empire and
around 100 for the lower deserts. High temperatures on Tuesday may
be a few degrees warmer with a warming trend continuing through
the following weekend.

130900Z...Coast/Valleys...BKN-OVC007-012 with tops to 1800 FT MSL
will lower to 005-010 through 15Z with areas VIS 2-4SM in FG/HZ.
Clouds/fog may reach as far inland as KONT at 10Z but not likely to
reach KSBD. Clouds clearing from the valleys 16-18Z, and from the
coastal areas 19-23Z.

Mountains/Deserts...SKC with unrestricted VIS.

No hazardous marine conditions are expected through Saturday.

encouraged to report significant weather conditions.

     Pass Near Banning.
