.DISCUSSION...
Very high humidity (near 100 percent) this morning under marine
stratus falls to near 50 percent by the early afternoon with
breaks in the clouds. High temperatures top out in the mid 70s
this afternoon, with overnight lows in the mid 50s with humidity
recovering back to near 100 percent. Light winds this morning
become west-northwesterly at 5-10mph after noon and return to
light and variable this evening. Isolated to scattered
thunderstorms are possible this afternoon. While the better storm
chances will be focused over the mountains, there is a 40-45
percent chance of thunderstorms for the forecast area. Any
thunderstorms will be accompanied by gusty/erratic wind gusts,
lightning, and heavy downpours. Storm chances valid from 2PM PDT
until 8PM PDT.
