...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Texas...

  Neches River Near Alto affecting Anderson, Cherokee, Trinity and
  Houston Counties.

For the Neches River...including Lake Palestine, Neches, Alto,
Diboll, Rockland...Moderate flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive cars through flooded areas.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE...

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
  forecast.

* WHERE...Neches River near Alto.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, Preparations should be completed for a
  moderate flood. Barns and farm buildings near the river will be
  threatened by high water. In addition, ranchers should have
  completed moving cattle and equipment to higher ground.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 10:15 AM CDT Friday the stage was 18.7 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 16.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 10:15 AM CDT Friday was 19.2 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to remain above moderate
    flood stage through Sunday afternoon before gradually falling
    into minor flood stage thereafter and remaining there through
    at least the middle part of next week.
  - Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
