...The National Weather Service in Shreveport LA has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Oklahoma...

  Glover River At Glover affecting McCurtain County.

For the Glover River...including Glover...Minor flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive cars through flooded areas.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON TO THURSDAY
MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Glover River at Glover.

* WHEN...From Wednesday afternoon to Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, The Glover River is at flood stage with
  minor flooding at its confluence with the Little River west of
  Golden, Oklahoma.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:30 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 8.3 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 16.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    early tomorrow afternoon to a crest of 16.8 feet early
    tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage early
    tomorrow afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    16.7 feet on 05/12/1999.
