.DISCUSSION...
The dog days of summer are quite numbered now with the fall
equinox at 7:43 am on Sunday. The above average heat will linger
into the new season, but not for too long. A cool front will edge
our way early in the new week with a scattering of showers and a
few thunderstorms. We will also be closely watching the tropics
with an increasing likelihood of a disturbance in the Gulf
maturing to cyclone strength. The GFS model even takes the storm
into our air space to end the month.
