This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Arkansas,
southwest Arkansas, north central Louisiana, northwest Louisiana,
southeast Oklahoma, east Texas and northeast Texas.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms are expected this
afternoon as tropical moisture continues across the region. The
strongest storms may contain gusty winds and brief heavy rainfall,
but organized severe weather is not anticipated.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Rain chances will disappear as upper ridging builds over the region
on Thursday. The potential for temperatures posing a heat risk
will exist through the weekend and into next week.
