...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 345 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following
  counties, Mason and McCulloch.

* WHEN...Until 345 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 139 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms...from 5 miles southwest of Brady east to
    Voca...and south to Katemcy...moving southeast at 20 mph.
    Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the
    advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
    the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Mason, Katemcy, Camp Air, Camp San Saba, Grit, Voca,
    Fredonia, Streeter, Art, Calf Creek, Long Mountain, Pontotoc,
    Koockville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
