MENARD...MASON...SOUTHERN CONCHO AND SAN SABA COUNTIES THROUGH 315 AM
CDT...

At 212 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Mullin to near Voca to 9 miles northwest
of Menard. Movement was southeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Brownwood, Brady, San Saba, Mason, Menard, Richland Springs,
Algerita, Cherokee, Eden, Melvin, Castell, Loyal Valley, Sloan,
Zephyr, Streeter, Brookesmith, Hilda, Waldrip, Winchell, and Camp San
Saba.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 700 AM CDT for
west central Texas.
