.DISCUSSION...
Fragmented low level moisture accompanying a trough and carried
by the present wind flow will bring periods of light to moderate
showers to the windward side of the islands during the rest of
the early morning. Afternoon convection is forecast particularly
across the central interior and west sections of Puerto Rico.
Overall hot temperatures will continue although in lesser areas,
increasing again tomorrow as more southeasterly winds return. The
KBDI and wind thresholds remains well below critical fire weather
values and minimum relative humidity values should remain above
or near threshold levels across southern areas of mainland PR
keeping the fire danger low. The hot weather will tend to dry the
north and south coasts and foothills of the island.
