248 FNUS75 KSLC 011049 FWSSLC Spot Forecast for Central Fire...CCIFC National Weather Service Salt Lake City UT 449 AM MDT Mon Jul 1 2024 Forecast is based on forecast start time of 0600 MDT on July 01. If conditions become unrepresentative...contact the National Weather Service. ...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM MDT THIS EVENING... .DISCUSSION...Breezy conditions will continue across the burn site ahead of an approaching cold front. This front is expected to weaken before it gets to the area. Although a Red Flag Warning is in effect for the fire weather zone for today, the burn site itself will likely be marginal or fall just short of criteria, with humidities near to just above 15% and gusts near or just below 30 mph. A reinforcing cold front is then expected to push through the burn site late tonight, which will bring some gusty northerly winds to the burn late tonight through tomorrow morning. Overnight humidity recoveries will be slightly better tonight, but overall still relatively poor. By tomorrow afternoon, winds will relax, while the airmass will trend a bit drier. .TODAY...
