.DISCUSSION...Southerly flow will persist today ahead of an
approaching storm system. These winds will mix down mid-morning, and
remain gusty through the day. Moisture associated with this system
will spread over the area this afternoon, bringing an increasing
chance for showers along with a few thunderstorms through the
afternoon and evening. This system will cross the region tonight
through Tuesday, bringing much cooler air along with a continued
chance for showers and a few afternoon thunderstorms. With the much
cooler air spreading into the area, rain showers may mix with snow
at times with little if any accumulation.

.TODAY...

Sky/weather.........Mostly sunny (15-25 percent cloud cover) then
                    becoming partly cloudy (45-55 percent cloud
                    cover). A 20% chance of rain showers early in
                    the afternoon, increasing to 40% after 1500.
                    Isolated thunderstorms mainly after 1500.
CWR.................10 percent.
Chance of pcpn......40 percent.
LAL.................1 until 1500, then 2.
Max temperature.....63-66.
Min humidity........32-35 percent.
Wind (20 ft)........South 3-8 mph increasing to 10-15 mph with
