If conditions become unrepresentative...contact the National Weather Service. .DISCUSSION...An area of low pressure currently moving into the Pacific Northwest will strengthen across Nevada on Monday and move near the Utah/ Idaho border on Tuesday. Isolated showers are expected through the rest of the evening with enhanced canyon winds. These will subside late this evening. Additional rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected Monday, especially during the afternoon and evening, with the best chance for thunderstorms after 1500. A strong cold front will move through the area late Monday night, bringing a significant cooldown. With the low passing overhead Tuesday, cool, showery conditions will be in place. Excellent RH recovery is expected each night this week beginning with Monday night. Another low pressure system will move through the area Wednesday through Friday, maintaining cool, showery conditions. While the total amount of forecast precipitation has decreased for Monday, the forecast has remained steady from Tuesday onward. Potential ranges for precipitation amounts through Tuesday afternoon range from a few hundredths to over 0.30", depending on exactly where showers and thunderstorms track. .TONIGHT...
