...An outflow boundary will bring gusty northwest winds to portions
of south central Weber, Davis, northwestern Salt Lake and east
central Tooele Counties through 1000 PM MDT...

At 909 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near North Ogden to 9 miles west of
Grantsville. Movement was southeast at 35 mph. This line has a
recent history of producing winds in the 50 to 55 mph range.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Salt Lake City, West Valley City, Ogden, Layton, Bountiful, Tooele,
Farmington, Grantsville, Hill Air Force Base, Roy, Clearfield,
Kaysville, Syracuse, Clinton, North Ogden, South Ogden, North Salt
Lake, Centerville, Woods Cross, and Washington Terrace.

This storm will be capable of producing strong gusty winds on the
Great Salt Lake. This will lead to a sudden increase in waves and
very choppy waters which will result in hazardous boating conditions.
Boaters are urged to seek safe harbor if possible.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 15 between mile markers 311 and 344.
 Interstate 84 between mile markers 82 and 89.
 Interstate 80 in Utah between mile markers 83 and 117.
