Synopsis for the Suwannee River to Okaloosa-Walton county Line
out to 60 nm
437 AM EDT Mon Jun 17 2024

.SYNOPSIS...

A prolonged period of strong easterly breezes will get underway
late today, lasting through at least Thursday and possibly
Friday. The strong breezes will be driven by the tight pressure
gradient between strong high pressure off the Northeast U.S.
coast, and a deepening area of tropical low pressure over the
southwest and western Gulf this week. Easterly flow will
demonstrate a familiar rhythm of nighttime and morning surges,
and afternoon lulls. An easterly wave will arrive around Friday,
disrupting the strong easterly flow and increasing thunderstorm
chances.
