A moist airmass moves into the region today, which will lead to increasing chances for showers and thunderstorms this morning. Currently, cumulus clouds are bubbling off the Forgotten Coast with some showers and thunderstorms forming and potentially moving to or developing over land in the next 2-4 hours. The latest guidance favors the potential for gusty and erratic winds, heavy rain, and lightning with storm development. Outside of the rain and thunder chance today, high temperatures should peak in the low 90s with the feels like temperature being around 100 degrees. Our typical, everyday day winds, will shift from the east to the southeast by mid to late morning and generally be around 5-10 mph. Tomorrow, conditions will not be as moist with rain and thunderstorm chances being suppressed to around 30 percent or less. Dispersions increase and may exceed 70, with the best guess range being between 65-75. Though rain chances drop and drier air moves into the region, minRH values of 45-55 percent are expected with very good to near excellent. Winds during will be from the east around 5 mph or less during the early morning hours, increasing to about 5-10 mph with gusts up to 16 mph. .REST OF TODAY...
